Passengers flock to Batangas Port during Undas weekend

Passengers and travelers flocked to the Batangas Port during the All Saints’ Day or Undas weekend.

However, according to the “24 Oras Weekend” report on Saturday, there were still fewer passengers compared to the years before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Children were also allowed to travel as long as they had the complete requirements and were accompanied by a parent or guardian.

More than 1,000 passengers and 4,000 cargoes arrived at the port from 11 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. on Saturday.

The port’s management said most of the passengers were bound for Puerto Galera or Bacolod City.

Health and safety protocols were strictly enforced at the Batangas Port.

More trucks were also seen lining up outside the port. — Richa Noriega/DVM, GMA News
