Some P600,000 worth of unregistered imported cooking oil were seized by authorities in San Fernando, Pampanga, according to a report on GMA’s Saksi on Friday.
The gallons of palm oil said to be from China and Malaysia were found stocked in a warehouse.
The products were allegedly being sold in some markets, even if these were not registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The warehouse caretaker was arrested.
However he denied not knowing the products were unregistered with the FDA. —KG, GMA News
