Cessna with 6 on board goes missing after taking off from Cauayan

A Cessna plane has gone missing after taking off from the Cauayan airport in Isabela on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a report on Saksi, on board the light aircraft were its pilot anf five passengers.

The plane was going to Maconacon town but it was no longer able to to land in the area.

According to Villamor Visaya’s report on Super Radyo dzBB, the plane took off from Cauayan at 2 p.m.

The pilot was last communicated at around 2:16 p.m. in Naguilian.

An aerial inspection and search was conducted in Isabela.

Authorities could not expand the search throughout the Sierra Madre due to bad weather.

Search and rescue operations will continue on Wednesday.
