LAS VEGAS, USA – Leo Dubai scooped the 2025 London International Awards’ Grand LIA in the Poster category for their work “Jordan 23” on their campaign, “The Great Indian Dunk” for NBA India.
In an effort to find a foothold in a Cricket-driven country like India, Leo Dubai highlighted the stunning, unseen moments of life in India – challenging perceptions of basketball as elitist or foreign.

By capturing authentic, unscripted moments of everyday life of kids jumping into ponds, hanging from a tusk or leaping through branches, and showing how they emulated signature dunks of the NBA’s MVPs, the brand found a powerful connection point.

The campaign, which also included works like “Kobe 08,” “Lebron 06,” and “Shaq 34,” also bagged three Golds in the Billboard (Craft: Photography Campaign), Poster (Craft: Photography Campaign), and Print (Craft: Photography Campaign) categories.
The same works also won four Silvers in the Poster (Craft: Art Direction Campaign), Poster (Sports Campaign), Print (Craft: Art Direction Campaign), and Print (Sports Campaign) categories, while also scoring two Bronzes on the Billboard category under the Craft: Art Direction Campaign and Sports Campaign subcategories.

Meanwhile, Ogilvy Mumbai won a Bronze in the Ambient & Activation (Corporate Purpose/Social Responsibility) category for their work “Vi Guardian Beads” for Vi (Vodafone Idea).
On the other hand, China’s The Nine is bringing home a Bronze on the Print (Craft: Photography Campaign) category for “Magnificent Campaign.”

The Ambient & Activation, Billboard, Poster, and Print Jury was headed by DDB Worldwide President and Global Chief Creative Officer Chaka Sobhani. They handed out three Golds, four Silvers, four Bronzes, and three Finalists.
