2 elderly Laguna women killed in separate attacks

Two elderly women were killed in separate attacks in Cabuyao, Laguna, according to Marisol Abdurahman’s “24 Oras” report on Friday.

Primitiva Imboltoryo, 62-year-old, was killed in her own home in Barangay Mamatid, Cabuyao, Laguna on Wednesday.

According to authorities, she was killed after her attacker hit her on the head with a hard object. Some P5,000 in cash was also allegedly stolen.

Police said the victim may have known the suspect because there was no sign of forced entry into the house.

Meanwhile, Angelina Villarico, a resident in a nearby barangay, was also killed days before the killing of Imboltoryo.

Authorities also considered that the motive of the crime was also theft as it could have been related to the victim’s loan business.

The police bared that the incidents were not connected and different suspects were also identified.
