The shear line or tail-end of a frontal system will bring cloudy skies and moderate to heavy rain over the Batanes and Babuyan Islands, PAGASA said Sunday.
In its daily weather forecast, PAGASA advised the affected north Luzon residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to the inclement conditions.
Palawan, meanwhile, will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
Flash floods or landslides are also possible during moderate to, at times, heavy rains.
The ITCZ and localized thunderstorms will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA said flash floods or landslides are also likely during severe thunderstorms.
Further, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters would prevail over Northern Luzon, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will be experienced over the rest of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. — DVM, GMA News
