PASIG, PHILIPPINES – Not even a steady downpour could cool the heat at Atleta63 on September 20 as the adobo Football Cup made its annual return. Postponed in July by stormy weather, the 14th season finally unfolded with the energy and flair the industry knows by heart.
The day opened warm and humid as 13 teams filled the green turf with color and anticipation. adobo Magazine Founder, Editor-in-Chief, and President Angel Guerrero welcomed everyone with words that set the tone: “It’s about team spirit, creativity in motion, and the kind of energy only this industry can bring to the field.”

This year, the Cup rallied behind the Tondo Football Club — a grassroots community where young players turn raw talent and fearless play into a language of their own. It was a fitting partner for a tournament that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and the joy of the game.

For players and spectators alike, the event became more than a break from overflowing inboxes and looming deadlines. It was a chance to reconnect with agency friends, meet new faces, and rediscover the thrill of friendly competition under an unpredictable sky.
The pitch saw 13 spirited squads:

The championship match was a gripping face-off between defending champions Dentsu Football Team and Publicis One United. In the end, Publicis delivered a 3-0 clean sweep, claiming the 2025 title. Newcomers WPP Media United FC impressed with a strong third-place finish, while Oliver FC took home the Platito Division title. BBDO United, on the other hand, clinched the Pandikdik title.

As rain poured through the evening, the awarding ceremony turned into a celebration of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Players, colleagues, and friends stayed on the field, drenched but smiling, exchanging stories of goals and near misses over cold beer.
In the end, the 2025 adobo Football Cup showed what matters most: creativity that endures, teamwork that holds fast, and a community that shines brightest when the skies are uncertain.
The 2025 adobo Football Cup would not be possible without the help of our partners and co-presenter: AIA Philippines.
