Quorn returns to TV with cheeky ‘Nothing to Hide’ campaign from adam&eveDDB

LONDON, UK – Quorn is back on television screens with ‘Nothing to Hide’, a playful and daring new campaign that marks the UK’s leading meat-free brand’s biggest marketing push in over four years.

Launching on October 4, the multi-million-pound initiative celebrates Quorn’s high-protein, no artificial ingredients frozen range, anchored by a refreshed creative direction from adam&eveDDB.

Running for ten weeks, the campaign spans TV, VOD, social media, influencer collaborations, podcasts, and PR, reaching millions of UK consumers and 95% of Quorn’s target audience at least fifteen times. It also includes Quorn’s largest-ever shopper marketing effort, activating across more than 1,500 supermarkets with branded freezers, gondola ends, in-store radio, and online touchpoints.

At the heart of the campaign are Quorn’s much-loved puppet mascots — Perry Pig, Clarence Cow, and Chickson Chicken — who return to the screen with their trademark wit. In the spot, voiced by Colin McFarlane, Perry seductively introduces a Massaman curry made with Quorn Pieces, boasting “no artificial ingredients.” The punchline? The puppets suddenly realize their lower halves have been pixelated, prompting Clarence’s exclamation: “Wait! No artificial ingredients — is that why we’re naked!?”

Blending humor with honesty, the spot ends with mouthwatering visuals of Quorn dishes, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to taste and transparency.

Lucy Grogut, Head of Brands at Quorn Foods, said “Shoppers love our puppets, and we know that they tap into an emotive consumer response, whilst also bringing the right level of fun that makes them the perfect characters to unveil our new range. It was a no brainer to get them on board for the launch of our high in protein with no artificial ingredients range. Consumers are scrutinising ingredients more than ever, and we’re putting Quorn right at the centre of that conversation with our loveable and distinctive trio.”

The campaign follows the success of ‘Mission Snack Swap’, which earlier this year boosted purchase intent among non-buyers by nearly 10% and helped Quorn achieve record snacking sales. Early System 1 research suggests ‘Nothing to Hide’ will deliver similarly exceptional results.

Mark Shanley, Executive Creative Director, adam&eveDDB London, added: “The Quorn puppets are back and this time they’re naked. Negotiating with their agents was tricky as they had always said they would only ever do a nude scene if it was right for their characters and served the narrative of the spot. Thankfully we got there in the end.

“We love working with those guys. They embody the goodness of Quorn and they always bring a smile to viewers’ faces. There really is nobody we’d rather have telling people that Quorn Mince & Pieces are both high in protein and free from artificial ingredients.”

Creative by adam&eveDDB, Media is handled by Initiative, Digital by Anything, PR by MTJ PR and Shopper by Creative Race. Advert is directed by Jim Archer and puppets created by Andy Heath at Talk to the Hand Productions.
