The Witcher goes east: What to expect from the musical quest in the PH

In October, 2025, The Witcher franchise announced that world-favorite RPG-game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to Manila this March to celebrate its 10th anniversary as part of a world tour. It will come in the form of a musical with popular songs like “Wolven Storm” and “Lullaby of Woe.”

Geralt of Rivia has been doing side quests in Asia for quite some time. The musical has been staged in Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and in Kyung Hee University Grand Peace Palace in Seoul, South Korea. The next quest is a journey to the Philippines.

Much like CJ Projekt Red’s critically acclaimed game, the musical will be full of surprises.

Filharmonika will helm the musical

Known for its masterful performances, the Filharmonika Orchestra is Film Concert PH’s affiliated film orchestra. It’s the go-to orchestra for cinematic favorites. It has played songs from Disney’s Frozen and How to Train Your Dragon to Star Wars: New Hope.

Founded by Gerard Salonga in 2005, the ensemble is composed of the finest musicians in the Philippines who have performed in top stages around the world.

The musical will be held at The Theatre at Solaire.

Constellation Acoustic System at the Theatre at Solaire

The Theatre at Solaire is home to world-class concerts, broadway-style musicals, and theatrical productions. The 1851-seat venue in Parañaque features state-of-the-art audio technology and the Constellation Acoustic System.

The Meyer Sound Constellation acoustic system is an “electronic magic wand” for room acoustics. It uses microphones and speakers to instantly change how a room sounds, allowing a space to feel like a small, quiet meeting room one moment, and a massive, echoing cathedral the next.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is better played in an immersive headset and monitor in PC and console. Think of the theatre as a much bigger PC, but with your friends near you.

Polish folk-metal band Percival Schuttenbach will perform at the musical

Percival Schuttenbach, a band known for co-creating the music for The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, will perform together with the Filharmonika Orchestra.

The band uses traditional Slavic folk sounds with powerful modern metal elements. Its style is atmospheric, rhythmic, and deeply rooted in historical and pagan themes.

Percival Schuttenbach uses traditional instruments such as lutes, hurdy-gurdy, flutes, and various ethnic percussion, creating an ancient, earthy sound. Many melodies are inspired by Slavic folklore and medieval music traditions.

The official setlist will be a handful

Unfortunately, “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher,” a catchy song from the Netflix series, will not be on the musical’s setlist. That only means it will focus on the background musical songs people have gotten used to hearing while playing the games.
