Ogilvy APAC’s Reed Collins, dentsu’s Yoshihiro Yagi, and 4 more named among D&AD Jury Presidents from Asia

The D&AD Awards has unveiled its Jury Presidents for the year, assembling a formidable collective that sets a new benchmark for creative excellence across disciplines.

Notably, representation from Asia remains select but significant, spotlighting a group of leaders shaping creative perspectives from across the region. These include:

  • Reed Collins: Chief Creative Officer APAC, Ogilvy (Press & Outdoor)
  • Yoshihiro Yagi: Executive Creative Director & Growth Officer, Dentsu (Art Direction)
  • Liu Zhao: Founder & Creative Director, another design (Typography)
  • Naomi Hirabayashi: Art Director & Graphic Designer, PLUG-IN GRAPHIC (Graphic Design)
  • Akanksha Goel: Vice President, Regional Lead (Middle East & India), We Are Social / Founder & CEO, Socialize (Creator Content)

Spanning advertising, craft, design, and engagement, their inclusion reflects Asia’s growing influence in global creativity — while also underscoring the opportunity for broader representation from across the region.

Collectively responsible for more than 900 D&AD Awards — including 74 Yellow Pencils, two White Pencils, and four Black Pencils — this year’s Jury Presidents have shaped brand transformations, led culture-shifting campaigns, and defined visual languages for some of the world’s most influential brands and platforms, from Nike and Netflix to Airbnb, Adobe, the BBC, and Beyoncé.

Spanning chief creative officers, founders, filmmakers, designers, producers, editors, and innovators, the cohort reflects the full breadth of the global creative industry. Their work cuts across both established giants and emerging disruptors, shaping not only how brands communicate, but how culture itself is built and experienced. From pixels to paper, and across every medium in between, they have consistently redefined what creative expression can achieve.

Together, they embody a vision of creativity that is alive, experimental, and driven by action. As this year’s D&AD Awards opens for entries, the Jury Presidents take on a dual role — not only as arbiters of excellence, but as challengers to the industry, calling on creatives everywhere to prove that bold, meaningful ideas continue to thrive.

“This year’s D&AD Jury Presidents represent an outstanding breadth of creative leadership, each one proving that creativity is not only alive, but vital to our industry. I am confident they will guide their juries with fairness, openness and transparency, upholding D&AD’s integrity while championing the very best in commercial creativity above all else,” said Donal Keenan, COO of D&AD.
